From 18/11/24, we have a new and improved patient portal which is an app on your laptop or phone.
Our previous portal will no longer be in operation.
Previous users of our portal will need to re-register for this new portal.
Your previous username and password will not work for this portal, unfortunately. This re-register is a once off and easy log in is then available.
Our new system allows online booking of certain appointments, easy cancellations, download of receipts, ordering prescriptions and secure messaging to us. Initially, Nurse appointments will be bookable online and that will be extended to Doctor appointments, in time.

We have designed this for patients of Wheaton Hall Medical Practice, for the secure exchange of any medical information between yourself and the practice.
We hope that you will find it a time-saver, and that it reduces unnecessary trips to the surgery.
The portal’s primary function is administrative. You may use it for prescription ordering, and also for the exchange of documents or brief messages. While messages from the portal will be checked during working hours in the practice, however please do not use it for urgent medical requests as we cannot guarantee a rapid response time.

I can’t log in to this new portal
Users of our previous portal need to re-register for this new portal. Press register when using it for the first time and you can log in after that.
I can’t register for this new portal
Our new portal is available for patients of this practice. Patients who have not attended in many years (10+) or people who have attended us for specific issues but are patients of another practice may have difficulty registering.
If you are unable to register for the portal, please call the Surgery on 041 9846846.
What can I do on this portal?
You can book certain appointments online, send secure messaging, view invoices, view upcoming appointments and order prescriptions through this portal. It is available as an app on your laptop or phone.
Why change the portal/system?
Our previous portal was very helpful for many years but it did not meet our practice or our patients’ needs as much as we wanted.
This platform is much more sophisticated and easy to use with no issue around forgotten/not working passwords.
Why can’t I book a routine Doctor’s appointment online through this platform now -Nov 2024?
Our plan is to facilitate online booking for routine appointments in the very near future. This is a new platform and requires learning, training and adjustment by our staff and patients alike.
