We are asking again for your patience as we try to deliver as normal a service as possible in these difficult times.
All our staff – doctors, nurses and reception – are really trying their best, but a combination of factors is leading to some difficulties in accessing the surgery by telephone, and we know there is a longer wait for appointments than you would like and than we would like.
PLEASE be kind to all our staff who are working really hard to help you.
We have seen exceptional demands placed on general practice, not just in Wheaton Hall but across the country, and unfortunately we have had some episodes of abuse of our staff – particularly at reception.
This serves no useful purpose and has been the cause of some staff absence, which obviously only makes matter worse.
We are trying behind the scenes to try to deliver easier ways to access the practice, including our Patient Portal which we would recommend you to try.
In the meantime we are grateful for your patience, as we all look forward to better times ahead.
